Sadie must have been deeply loved and cared for in her former life!! She is the total definition of Golden Retriever. She is petite and absolutely perfect. No no no – in other words – no aggression, no anxieties, no health issues. At some point, she learned behavior skills as she sits, stays, comes, lays down – does not jump on anyone, greets dogs & people with appropriate enthusiasm.
Last Sunday FM picked her up from a kennel where she had been for several days – her greeting was one of pure alleluia - however, it was at bedtime when FM had tears. Sadie popped right into bed and put her little muzzle on FM’s neck and gave the biggest sigh ever heard.
While at the kennel she had a thorough exam – 2 findings were proved to be nothing of concern. She had a UTI which seems to be cleared up, but FM is on full alert. During the hot weather - 2 short walks, one AM, one PM – I’ve used a flat leash and haven’t had any difficulty – Sadie is truly a gem.
I think she could fit into nearly any home – a fenced yard is always a plus, she seems to like kids – I’d like to see her with someone who might be with her a major portion of every day and truly dedicated to her. She is so worth it.
More to come as I know this beautiful girl. Thanks for reading.
