This is Sheila, a beautiful 9yr old spayed PB Golden Retriever she is 65pds of sweetness she has been in my home for 7 days and doing surprisingly well. She had her Vet check, tested negative for heartworm and lymes and over all is a healthy girl.

Sheila has had no accidents in the house, sleeps good at night, is starting to show more of her personality playing with the ball, bringing me toys and running in the fenced yard. We went for a few walks and she did very good on the leash. She loves car rides and has no problem getting in and out of my car.

Sheila has been introduced to my cat and passed with flying colors, she has also met several dogs of different breeds/sizes and did just fine. She has met several people men and women she greets them with her paw held out to be petted. Yeay Sheila!!

I will see how she does around kids this week and let you know.

Sheila is really enjoying the good life now that her mothering days are behind her.

She met some kids ages 5yrs to 11yrs old and did very well. She held out her paw to them and wanted to be petted and showed no fear. She enjoyed the attention.

I had her on a leash this morning while mowing the yard and the noise did not bother her at all. She laid outside just enjoying herself watching everything.

It was so cute I had her back in the house while I went to get the mail and I caught her on the couch looking out the window for me. I had to laugh and gave her a big hug.

She is making herself at home now checking out every room and sleeping on a dog bed in my bedroom she sleeps through the night with no problems.

A couple of times I caught her digging in the fence looking for a cool spot to lay down I told her no and she stops right away.

I do have to say Sheila's tail is going all the time and she is such a sweetheart one look at you with those eyes just melts your heart.
